A fragrant chocolate mix that is not too sweet.
Subtly spiced with cinnamon, cardamon, vanilla, nutmeg and a touch of cayenne pepper, our drinking chocolate is made with raw cacao which isn’t bitter like other cacao and, as a result, needs less sugar added.
The sugar used is panela / rapadura sugar. This is the first pressing of the sugar cane which is then slowly dried to remove the moisture – it’s a process that keeps all of the natural caramel flavours of the sugar and adds to the flavour of the drinking chocolate.
Many describe Brazen Hot Chocolate as having a chai flavour and we think it’s similar but not quite the same.
Mix 2-3 heaped teaspoons with a small amount of warm water and top up with either a cup of hot or cold milk.
