Sambal Oelek

Sabal Oelek is the classic chilli paste of Indonesia. This is a raw chilli paste that comes with a kick and is balanced with salty, sweet, and sour flavours.

This can be used as a base to make other sauces or used in cooking and enhancing the flavours of sauces and noodles.

A hot paste in one of its purest forms, only 5 ingredients for a flavour that is pure and practically unadulterated chilli.

A chunky spoonable paste that is studded with chilli seeds, use it as a basic condiment and stir through rice, noodles, over eggs, or anywhere a chilli kick is desired. Can add coconut milk or cream to use as a marinade or stir fry sauce or lather over chicken and other meats prior to cooking for full flavour.
